About the Founder: 

With more than 15 years of experience as a journalist in South Florida – Karla Guadamuz-Davis  – today serves as Founder & Director of KGC Marketing Team in Miramar, FL.  KGC Marketing Team stands for Karla Guadamuz “Complete” Marketing Team. 

Karla Guadamuz-Davis was born and raised in Miami, Florida and is the daughter of Nicaraguan immigrants. 

The 38-year-old was the first in her family to attend a U.S. school with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications from the University of Miami in 1995.

During college Guadamuz-Davis  worked the overnight shift at WSVN TV (Channel 7 News) in Miami and made it to class for a load of courses throughout the day.  The hard work paid off because she was offered an Assignment Editor position at the TV station the day after graduation.

Guadamuz-Davis  worked at WSVN for 6 years at the Assignment Desk, as a Writer, Producer & Court Journalist.    She then took a management position at WTVJ (NBC 6 News) and worked as a news reporter for WIOD radio.  She covered the very latest in traffic, news & weather.  Karla’s quick-paced experience earned her a spot on MSNBC News as a breaking news Producer & Reporter during Hurricanes Wilma & Katrina.    In 2000, Guadamuz-Davis served as a TV Reporter at WPEC (CBS News 12) in West Palm Beach.  She covered everything from elections to local breaking news events.

In 2002, Guadamuz-Davis teamed up as a Producer for an independent production company with "60-Minute’s" Morley Safer, which took her all over the country and to parts of Europe.  Guadamuz wrote stories about all sorts of topics from the history of the carmaker Volvo in Sweden to the latest in medical techniques at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota.

After 4-years of traveling & living out of a suitcase Guadamuz-Davis decided to start her own TV Production company and Marketing Firm and stay home in Broward County.  Today, Guadamuz-Davis solely focuses on Marketing & Public Relations for local businesses in the South Florida area.  KGC Marketing Team also serves as an Ad Agency to help business reduce costs with advertising.

KGC Marketing Team has become a successful local Marketing Firm offering businesses the opportunity to market themselves affordably & effectively.
